  • Kansas City Center For Inclusion

    The Kansas City Center for Inclusion provides education and resources in a welcoming and safe space to the LGBTQIA+ community, their families, and straight allies.

  • PFLAG Kansas City

    Founded in 1973 after the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son, PFLAG is the nation's largest family and ally organization. Their site is full of great resources and a help line. Local meetings are currently held virtually.

  • Fountain City Performing Arts

    FCPA is the managing organization to SingOUTKC Youth Chorus, PerformOUTKC Youth Theatre Arts and OUTLoudKC Youth Drum Ensemble for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, at-risk and straight teen allies, ages 13-18 in the Greater Kansas City community offering a safe space for teens to grow and share their views on societal issues through the arts.

  • Transformations KC

    In 2016, Transformations was formed as a youth organization serving TGNC young people. Five advocacy frameworks and approaches to care informed our work: harm reduction, trauma informed care, anti-oppression, positive youth development and transformative justice. We are proud to have championed part of the culture change in the Greater Kansas City area to create more inclusive communities for trans and nonbinary youth.

  • Modern Family Alliance

    The Modern Family Alliance (MFA), formerly the Midwest Alternative Family Alliance (MAFA), was founded in 2002 by a small group of people to act as a catalyst for social action on behalf of LGBT families. Since then, the organization has been celebrating LGBTQ parents, prospective parents and those who support them. In 2005, MFA became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a goal of providing a presence, a voice, and a way to to better perform its mission to connect LGBTQ families and educate the larger community.

  • Mid-America LGBT Chamber

    The Mid-America LGBT chamber is a community of members that create, identify, and enhance business opportunities for LGBTQ+ and allied organizations through advocacy, promotion, and facilitation of the success of the LGBTQ+ business community and our allies to foster a more inclusive and vibrant economy in Kansas City and across the Mid-America region. Their guiding principles are equality, inclusion, economics, and education.
